What's New

VACATION TIME

I'm leaving for Canada for three months (June through August 2009) and may have limited ability to update this website. If I can, when I can, I'll be posting my stockdog and livestock adventures via Working Dog Diary, and updating breeder ads, events, and feature photos. Whether or no, I'll be back in the fall.

Dog Politics — anti-dog legislation has now become so prevalent that everyone who wants to own, breed, or work dogs, must at minimum educate themselves about the rights they are in process of losing.

WELCOME TO WORKING AUSSIE SOURCE

Please send in your working Aussie photos! Looking for spring photos in particular. Previously featured photos are viewable in the Photo Gallery, where you will also find submission guidelines.

Who is Working Aussie Source? The creator, owner, and manager of the site is Kay Spencer (more info at Working Dog Diary), advised by a board of stockmen and women who have decades, if not lifetimes, of experience breeding, training, and using Aussies as stock dogs. Presently the Working Aussie Source Advisory Board consists of:

• John Harvey  Bar JH Stockdogs
• Dana MacKenzie  Hearthstone
• Terry Martin  Slash V
• Betty Williams  W Lazy J

Advisory Board members serve in a consulting capacity only. They do not make policy decisions and are not responsible for the content of Working Aussie Source.

We invite each and every Aussie stock dog breeder to have their own Breeder Page here on Working Aussie Source. If you'd like to find out more about this easy, inexpensive way for you to reach buyers searching for those real working Aussies, go to our Sign-Up page.
