Doc is a tremendous ranch dog, working here on the ranch where we have Registered Angus cattle. Doc has an amazing presence with lots of power to work both heads and heels as the need arises, yet he has plenty of finesse to work sheep and ducks in a trial situation. Although he is young in his trialing endeavors, he has already won Most Promising Aussie in a trial and made a statement at the 2021 ASCA Nationals by placing first in cattle, third in ducks and fourth in sheep in the Open class. He has since won several more High in Trials as well as High Combined, including winning the High Combined open at the 2022 Nationals.  2023 Nationals / Finals brought more success, with a High Combined Non-WTCH win in both the Pre-trial as well as Nationals. He made the cut for Finals finishing 4th in Cattle and 11th in Sheep.

Doc has an amazing personality and enjoys being by my side as much as possible! However, he is very amicably worked / handled by many different people with great ease! He is one of the toughest dogs I have ever owned!

His breeding is mostly Twin Oaks with some Winsong, 45 Ranch and Slash V dogs in the background. He is sired by Vinny who was the 2014 Cattle Finals Champion and out of the infamous dam Oakley who is one of only four Supreme Stockdog Champion!
