Arcadia working Australian Shepherds is located in Frost, Texas. Our lines come from 100% working dogs. Maintaining the working Australian Shepherd is a passion of mine. We raise dorper cross sheep, pastured chickens and cattle in North Central Texas.
I started in Australian Shepherds when I was 14 years old with my Windsong’s Raisin Cain daughter, Raisin (Justus Raisin Gazelle). She was my first Aussie and a gift from my mentor, Dana Mackenzie. I was the first Junior Handler to put a Working Trial Championship title on a dog. Raisin introduced me to a natural working dog, who could do anything I asked and was smart enough to get us out of trouble. Raisin and Dana taught me about working dogs and livestock and my passion was set in stone.
I have had working bred Aussies ever since then. I use my dogs on my place and have a passion for preserving and spreading the word about the working farm and ranch dog. Although I enjoy trialing because I love games and I am very competitive, my main purpose and mission is to share this amazing working dog with the farm and ranch community.
