Eligible Dogs

Competition Year
The competition year runs from January 1-December 31.

How Points are Earned
Dogs earn points by placing above other dogs in a class. Dogs earn 1 point for every dog they beat in a class. For example, if there are 10 dogs in the Open Sheep class in USBCHA, and your dog places 5th in the class, then he would earn 5 points because he placed above 5 other dogs.

Eligible courses and classes:
Arena courses, field trials, ranch trials, farm trials, Large Flock, HRD, horseback, etc.

How Scores are Submitted
Handlers will register their dogs on the Working Aussie Source website at www.workingaussiesource.com. (Registration Coming January 1)

After each event, handlers will upload results to the website. Results will be reviewed and posted within 10 business days unless there are concerns or issues that require research. Any questionable results will be researched. Handlers should be able to produce additional evidence of scoring if requested.

After each event, get a copy or take a photo of the results. The photo must include the location, date, am/pm, etc with verifiable information. ASCA, AKC and AHBA results sheets will count as verification. Individual score sheets may be requested as additional verification if needed, but in order to verify placements, the RESULTS sheet must be submitted. (see examples below) Time and points result sheets will count for verification if proper identification is included. (Ask trial secretaries to help assist you obtaining this information.)

Scores must be uploaded within 30 days of the event. All scores must be uploaded to the site by January 30 of the following year.
