Can You Survive The Texas Chill? Join us for three days of competitive herding action at the 3rd Annual Texas Chill! We're hosting trials for all 4 stock breeds in a fun, challenging environment.

Location: 5980 FM 667, Frost, TX 76641
Courses: Ranch Sheep & Cattle, Farm Cattle and Mixed (Sheep & Ducks)
Judges: Jamie Burns, Jimmy McKay, and Neal DeSahzo
Handler's Meeting: 8:00 AM daily
Trial Start: 9:00 AM daily
Classes & Entries
We offer classes for Cattle, Sheep, and Ducks across multiple divisions including: Open, Started, Junior Handler (JH), Novice Handler (NH), Advanced (A), and Farm (F).
Pre-Entries: Must be postmarked by 11/3/2025.
Entry Forms: Available at asca.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/stockdogentyform.pdf. Only the newest version of the Stockdog Entry Form will be accepted.

Pre-Entry Fees: Vary by class and date, starting as low as $30.00.
Special Arena Trial Offer:
Enter all ARENA & Ranch and Farm trials for $650 Pre-Entry only, or all ARENA Trials for $430 Pre-Entry only.
Awards & Recognition
Compete for special awards, including:
- High Combined WTCH (Highest combined scores for Aussie with a WTCH title)
- High Combined Non-WTCH (Highest combined scores for Aussie without a WTCH title)
- High Combined Started/Open (Helps dogs move up from Started to Open)
- Iron Dog Award (Awarded to every dog competing in all classes and stock all weekend!)
Important InfoLodging: Overnight Dry Camping is available at no cost on the trial site. Check the full flyer for nearby hotels and camping.
Exhibitor Rules: Dogs must be confined or on lead at all times except when competing. YOU MUST CLEAN-UP AFTER YOUR DOGS.
Food: Lunch info is available on site. Dinner is planned at local restaurants Friday and Saturday night.
